Positive Spin

Developed by AIDS.gov (now HIV.gov), Positive Spin is a digital tool that uses the power of personal storytelling to educate individuals about the HIV care continuum—the series of steps a person with HIV takes from initial diagnosis through their successful treatment with HIV medications. Positive Spin features the personal experiences of five HIV-positive, gay Black men who have successfully navigated the HIV care continuum from diagnosis to treatment and, ultimately, to viral suppression. By achieving viral suppression, people with HIV can stay healthy, live longer, and have a negligible risk of sexually transmitting HIV to their partners.
